Job description

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Virtualization Engineer/Administrator ? Level 2 to support and optimize enterprise virtual infrastructure utilizing VMware technologies. The successful candidate will assist with virtualization operations, system maintenance, performance optimization, backup and recovery, automation, and infrastructure security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure environments.
  • Provision and administer virtual machines.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Implement automation and security hardening solutions.
  • Support backup and recovery operations using Cohesity and Veeam.
  • Assist with Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
  • 3?5 years of virtualization engineering or administration experience.
  • VMware vSphere expertise.
  • Experience with backup and recovery technologies including Cohesity and Veeam.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
