Staff Accountant - Marina Operations (On-Site)
Location: Charlestown, MA
Work Type: On-site
About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our marina team. This on-site position focuses on bank reconciliations and the accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate financial records and timely payments to support day-to-day marina operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Manage the accounts payable cycle from invoice processing to payment.
  • Record and post journal entries related to AP and bank activity.
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records to support audits and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with operations staff to ensure proper transaction coding.

Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in service, hospitality, or marina operations.
  • Strong experience with bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
  • Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Netsuite, or similar) and Excel.
