Job Summary:
eTeam is a company seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Scala, Play, and Akka. The role involves building distributed and reactive systems and developing backend services while collaborating with development and product teams.
Responsibilities:
• Develop backend services using Scala and Play
• Implement reactive systems using Akka
• Design RESTful APIs
• Optimize MySQL and Oracle databases
• Work on distributed architectures
• Ensure high performance and scalability
• Write unit and integration tests
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate effectively with the development and product teams to understand software requirements and specifications.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years backend experience, 3 should be in Scala
• Strong Scala, Play, and Akka knowledge
• MySQL and Oracle expertise
• Experience with distributed systems and modern development practices
