About the Role

This role is responsible for translating digital strategy into operational excellence while driving measurable revenue, profitability, customer experience, and organizational alignment across the business. Reporting to the Director of Digital Channel Enablement, this individual will serve as the operational leader and strategic partner for eCommerce initiatives — owning execution across digital platforms, merchandising, analytics, customer experience, and enterprise-wide projects that impact online sales performance. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, project leadership, operational discipline, and cross-functional influence with a deep understanding of B2B/B2C eCommerce ecosystems. This is a highly visible leadership role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain, and is critical to scaling Dexter’s digital commerce capabilities and revenue growth.

What You'll Do

Revenue Growth & Digital Performance Ownership

  • Own and drive eCommerce revenue performance, conversion optimization, margin improvement, and customer engagement metrics across digital channels.
    • Monitor and analyze key KPIs including: Revenue growth, Conversion rate, Average order value (AOV), Customer acquisition and retention, Digital channel profitability, Site performance and customer experience metrics
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to align digital campaigns with revenue objectives and customer growth initiatives.
  • Ability to review performance and translate findings into measurable business improvements.

eCommerce Operations & Execution

  • Lead day-to-day execution and operational management of Dexter’s eCommerce platforms, including Index/Znode and related digital tools.
    • Oversee site operations including & drive process improvement: Product launches, Promotional campaigns, Pricing updates, Content deployment, Navigation and merchandising updates
  • Ensure execution of digital initiatives while maintaining high standards for customer experience and operational accuracy.
  • Manage prioritization and execution of the eCommerce project backlog across internal and external development resources.
  • Drive operational rigor through documentation, process improvement, and workflow optimization.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Enterprise Project Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between eCommerce and key business functions including: IT, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance
  • Lead and manage initiatives that support revenue growth, operational scalability, and customer experience improvements.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to establish accountability across teams to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and business objectives are achieved
  • Facilitate alignment between business priorities and technical execution.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and operational gaps while proactively driving solutions.

Vendor & Agency Management

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, platform partners, and technology vendors.
  • Ensure vendors deliver against scope, timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with third-party partners to optimize platform performance, customer experience, and digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities and recommend solutions that support business growth objectives.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, eCommerce, Digital Marketing, preferred)
  • 5–8+ years of eCommerce, digital operations, or digital business management experience.
  • Proven track record of driving online revenue growth and managing complex digital commerce operations.
  • Experience managing eCommerce platforms such as Znode, Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of digital merchandising, analytics, customer experience, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, & leadership skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or aftermarket industries preferred

  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and fast-paced growth environments.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Experience managing external development teams or agencies.
