We are working with a lovely family seeking an experienced, career Nanny to care for their two toddlers. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity with a warm, welcoming family who values communication, education, and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Local to the NYC/Brooklyn area (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Education (required)
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of full-time nanny experience
- U.S. Passport or Green Card with the ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Strong swimmer
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Pet friendly (small senior dog in the home)
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- Typically 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
- Occasional evenings until 9:00-9:30 PM
- 57 guaranteed hours per week
- Hours over 40 paid at time-and-a-half
The family spends many weekends at their upstate home, particularly during the summer. Occasional overnight support (such as Thursday into Friday) may be requested before the weekend nanny takes over.
Both parents work full-time from home, so excellent communication, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. They are looking for a fun, active, engaging nanny who is passionate about early childhood education and is seeking a long-term position.
