What You'll Be Doing:
  • New Product Development
    • Project managing all new product development alongside our designers
    • Manage and execute product development plans, ensuring timely delivery
    • Maintain accurate Airtable, Excel, and Google sheets regarding product status, photos, and issues.
    • Coordinate sampling, organize priorities, and oversee testing, content creation, and photography
    • Facilitate communication between US and Asian sourcing teams
    • Prepare and lead weekly Brand + Sales check-in meetings
    • Conduct product training for internal teams
  • Product Improvement
    • Manage product improvements from initiation through implementation
    • Maintain an organized database of costs and product enhancements
    • Coordinate update of product information, instruction manuals, and photography in Salsify and other systems
    • Monitor and ensure implementation of product changes
  • Process Optimization
    • Implement and streamline processes to increase efficiency
    • Manage special projects to support team objectives

What You Bring to The Table:
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • You can seek out the stakeholders of a new project, work with them to identify the risks, create a project plan and schedule, lead a project kick-off meeting, hold people accountable with regular check-ins, communicate regular status updates to stakeholders, complete the project and celebrate the team's win.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to assess impact vs. effort and prioritize accordingly
  • You are comfortable managing up, whether that's following up with the CEO about a cost approval or giving constructive feedback to managers about processes that can be improved.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in speaking and reading Chinese
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency

California pay range
$68,000-$80,000 USD
