Job Title: Weekend Shift Warehouse Fulfillment Team Member
Job Description

This role focuses on accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders in a warehouse environment. You will work primarily with small, lightweight baby products such as clothing, accessories, bottles, and baby care items, ensuring each order is correct, neatly packed, and ready for shipment. You will receive training across both picking and packing functions to support smooth and efficient order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Select customer orders from pick sheets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle small, lightweight items such as baby onesies, clothing, binkies, accessories, bottles, and other baby care products carefully and efficiently.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, and product descriptions to ensure each order matches the pick sheet.
• Pack orders into appropriately sized boxes, ensuring items are protected and organized for shipment.
• Double-check order accuracy before sealing boxes to minimize errors and returns.
• Tape and label boxes correctly so they are ready for shipping and receiving processes.
• Support warehouse inventory activities by maintaining orderly pick locations and reporting low stock when observed.
• Assist with general labor tasks in the warehouse as needed, including basic shipping and receiving activities.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines while operating in pick, pack, and general warehouse areas.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily fulfillment goals and maintain an efficient workflow.

Essential Skills

• Previous warehouse or production experience.
• Consistent work history demonstrating reliability and strong attendance.
• Experience with order picking and order selection using pick sheets.
• Hands-on experience in pick and pack operations within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform packing tasks, including selecting appropriate box sizes and securely taping packages.
• Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and correct item selection.
• Ability to work effectively on a weekend shift schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Retail experience that supports strong customer focus and accuracy in handling products and orders.
• Experience working in warehouse inventory environments, including pick/pack operations.
• Comfort working with small, delicate items and ensuring they are handled and packed carefully.
• Willingness to cross-train in different warehouse functions, including picking, packing, and basic shipping support.

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse environment focused on order fulfillment for small, lightweight baby products. You will work on a structured schedule with defined shifts, including a weekend shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday through Sunday. Other warehouse shifts include a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and a night shift from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday, which may provide context for cross-coverage or scheduling needs. The work involves standing, walking, picking, and packing throughout the shift, as well as handling boxes and operating in general labor and shipping and receiving areas. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and efficiency while supporting training in both picking and packing tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockbourne, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
