As a Mental Health Tech, you'll partner with Psych Nurses to assure safe and quality nursing care in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules. In our unit, you will assist patients with their daily living, take vital signs, observe patients behaviors, plan patient activities and/or support groups and respond to crisis situations in a timely, effective manner. You will be skilled in prevention strategies to avoid crisis and problems that arise for your patients.

Shift: 7PM-7:30AM (modified self-scheduling)
Experience: 
One year of psychiatric experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit or comparable experience preferred.
Education: 
1. High school diploma required.
2. BA in Psychology or equivalent degree preferred.
Licensures/Certifications: 
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
