Position Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCaBA) to join our Therapeutic Consultation team in the Hampton Roads area (Hampton, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Norfolk) as a part‑time W‑2 employee (non-contracted). This role provides clinically meaningful work with flexibility, without the pressures commonly associated with clinic‑based ABA models.

You will join a collaborative team of BCBAs serving individuals across the lifespan (although most clients we serve are adults) throughout the region. The focus of this position is consultation, coaching, and training for caregivers and support teams. There is no RBT supervision included in this role.

Services are delivered in person, with some opportunity for telehealth, depending on service needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify strengths, needs, and meaningful goals
  • Develop individualized, practical behavior support plans using applied behavior analysis principles
  • Provide consultation, coaching, and training to caregivers, direct support professionals, and provider teams
  • Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure cohesive, person‑centered care
  • Review and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust recommendations as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with Medicaid and waiver requirements
  • Apply ethical, evidence‑based, and assent‑informed practices in all service delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing (required)
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong clinical judgment, problem‑solving skills, and comfort with data‑based decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Virginia Medicaid Waiver services (or willingness to learn)
  • A respectful, strengths‑based approach to behavior support

What We Offer

  • $50 per hour as a part‑time W‑2 (non-contracted) employee
  • Flexible scheduling with part‑time hours (approximately 10–29 hours/week)
  • Consultation‑focused role with no RBT supervision
  • In‑person work with telehealth flexibility
  • Paid CEUs
  • Supportive, collaborative BCBA and multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Stable employment structure with flexibility and autonomy of your caseload

Why Join Us

  • Do meaningful work that supports whole systems, not just individual behavior
  • Maintain clinical autonomy without clinic productivity pressure
  • Avoid burnout‑heavy models and focus on sustainable, real‑world impact
  • Work alongside colleagues who value ethical, compassionate, and dignified care
  • Enjoy flexibility while still benefiting from a W‑2 employment model

Job Type: Part‑time (W‑2 Employee; non-contracted)
Work Location: Hybrid remote with in‑person services in and around the Hampton Roads area (Hampton, Newport News, Virginia Beach, Norfolk)
