The Live Oak School District was established in 1872 and currently serves approximately 1,700 students in three elementary schools, one middle school, one K-8 independent charter school, and one alternative school. The student population is 50% Hispanic, 31% White, 19% Other, 30% English learner, and 60% Socioeconomically disadvantaged.
Job Summary
The position of Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services or designee, provides leadership and direct service in the development, implementation, and monitoring of school wide behavioral and social-emotional supports for students across the school community. This position supports the District's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) by delivering evidence-based behavior analytic services, building staff capacity, and improving school climate, student engagement, attendance, belonging, wellness, and integrated student
supports. The BCBA promotes equitable access to learning through preventative, restorative, trauma informed, intervention, and system-level behavior support strategies.

Education and Experience:
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
• Experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Valid California driver's license
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
