Deaconess Health System is inviting Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to become a vital part of our hospital-employed EM team, delivering high-quality, fast-paced care across a variety of dynamic settings in Evansville, Indiana, and Henderson, Kentucky.

Practice Highlights

  • Diverse Clinical Settings
    • Midtown Campus – A 237-bed Level II Trauma Center, centrally located in the heart of Evansville
    • Gateway Campus – A 250-bed acute care hospital with modern facilities and advanced technologies
    • Henderson Hospital – A 143-bed acute care center across the river, rich in community tradition
    • New Satellite Emergency Department – State-of-the-art and built with efficiency in mind
  • Flexible Scheduling
    • 9-hour shifts at Midtown, Gateway, and Henderson
    • 12-hour shifts at the Satellite ED
    • Full-time defined as just 15 shifts/month
    • Schedules are request-based and highly flexible, with dedicated Nocturnists to support work-life balance
  • EPIC EMR – Integrated, reliable, and intuitive

Compensation & Benefits

  • Average annual compensation of $525,000 ($333.00 per hour) with the opportunity to earn up to $648,000 ($388.00 per hour)
  • Up to $164,000 in incentives, including:
    • $50K Sign-On Bonus
    • $75K in Student Loan Forgiveness
    • Up to $24K in Educational Assistance
    • Up to $15K in Relocation Assistance
