Job description

If you enjoy figuring things out, improving how systems work, and digging into both cloud and on‑prem environments, this role gives you the space to do just that. As a Systems Engineer II, you’ll take what you know and start owning it—handling day‑to‑day infrastructure work independently while continuing to grow your skills across modern environments.

You won’t be on an island here—you’ll collaborate with a team that values problem-solving, continuous improvement, and getting things done the right way. This is a fully in-office role located in Green Bay, WI.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy, maintain, and support servers, storage, and cloud infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain Azure environments (VMs, storage, networking)
  • Administer virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper‑V
  • Keep backup and recovery systems ready when they’re needed most
  • Configure and support Windows Server environments, including Remote Desktop Services
  • Monitor and optimize storage platforms (SAN/NAS), performance, and capacity
  • Manage identity, access, and core network services
  • Jump in on support tickets and system alerts—troubleshooting and escalating when needed
  • Keep documentation current so the team stays aligned
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (we’ve all been there—team support matters)
  • Collaborate on infrastructure and cloud projects that move the organization forward
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years relevant experience
  • Experience with server and storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS)
  • Hands-on Azure experience (compute, storage, networking)
  • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery
  • Working knowledge of networking
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
