Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Systems Administrator Specialists- Microsoft Cloud Services in Jacksonville, FL to provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, Azure - cloud service provider, implementation techniques, application & data migration techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Setup and maintain azure environments, configure networks and security in line with the design participate in design and development of new features and components. Work with team leads to validate requirements and perform impact analysis of new requirements and/or changes to the existing system. Develop and conduct testing of cloud systems. Maintain technical expertise relevant industry standards and in cloud computing technologies such as cloud service provider architecture, design, and configuration; cloud deployment models including public, community, private, and hybrid; cloud service delivery models including infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service; automation; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling. Evaluate and report on new cloud technologies to enhance capabilities of cloud-based services. Monitor usage and performance. Train personnel on system usage. Troubleshoot server, software issues. Perform other related duties assigned as needed .

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: implementing and managing complex Azure environments, including virtual networks, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, and VPN and ExpressRoute hybrid connectivity solutions; designing and implementing Azure Backup and Site Recovery strategies ensuring robust failover capabilities and alignment with organizational RPO/RTO objectives; developing automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM/Bicep templates to streamline deployments, enforce governance, and reduce manual intervention; planning and execute migrations of on-premises workloads, virtual machines, and databases to Azure using tools including Azure Migrate and Database Migration Service; utilizing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management tools to proactively monitor system health, optimize resource utilization, and implement cost-saving strategies; and deploying and managing App Services, AKS, and Storage Accounts ensuring scalability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and five (5) years of experience in the above listed skills.
