Job description

Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Dallas TX / Daytona Beach (Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and support cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and standardized deployments. This role partners closely with architecture, security, networking, and application teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building and deploying Azure resources using IaC, a foundational understanding of cloud networking, and the ability to support both project-based work and broader cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform)
  • Deploy and manage cloud resources across environments (Dev, Test, Prod) using CI/CD pipelines
  • Support build and deployment activities for cloud infrastructure and PaaS services
  • Implement and maintain standardized templates, modules, and reusable components
  • Collaborate with networking teams to support cloud networking components, including:
    • Virtual Networks, subnets, and routing
    • Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewalls, and load balancers
    • Private Endpoints and DNS
  • Assist with troubleshooting infrastructure, deployment failures, and connectivity issues
  • Ensure cloud resources align with security, governance, and compliance standards
  • Support implementation and maintenance of backup, high availability, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for Azure workloads
  • Participate in operational support activities, including monitoring, patching, and optimization
  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Azure cloud experience
  • Hands-on experience delivering Azure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Bicep, ARM Templates, Terraform)
  • Experience supporting Azure IaaS and PaaS services across multiple environments
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation in Azure
  • Proficiency with Azure automation and scripting (Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI)
  • Foundational knowledge of Azure networking, security, and governance
  • Ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and operational issues in Azure environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Expert)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience contributing to technical analysis and high-level cost estimates for cloud-delivered projects
  • Experience building and delivering technical presentations to internal audiences
