Essential Skills: Automation Engineer – PowerShell, .NET and Azure services.
Technical:
• Azure PaaS Services – experience with Application Service Environments (ASE), SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance, Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, WebApps, AKS, Container Apps and Container Registry.
• Azure IaaS Services – solid understanding of Azure networking concepts and virtual machine–based services.
• Azure Authentication Methods – ability to implement secure access control in Azure.
• Azure AI Services – hands-on experience with the full Azure AI suite; AI-102 certification preferred along with Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Emerging Azure Technologies – knowledge of Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Fabric.
• Coding & Automation – coding experience with .NET or Python; creation of automation templates using BICEP and Terraform; familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Azure Architecture & Design – capability to prepare high-level and low-level architecture design diagrams.
Behavioural:
• Perform detailed requirements analysis and provide appropriate Azure-based solutions.
