Title: Azure Architect

Location: Newark NJ (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite)

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Architect who can design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and costeffective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring cloud architectures align with best practices, security standards, and enterprise goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design endtoend Azure cloud architectures for enterprise and cloudnative applications
  • Define high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance strategies
  • Create architecture diagrams, design documents, and solution blueprints
  • Select appropriate Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) based on requirement
  • Architect and manage Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure Storage (Blob, File, Queue, Table), Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Virtual Network, VPN, and ExpressRoute
  • Design hybrid and multicloud solutions where required
  • Implement Azure security best practices - Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, Defender for Cloud
  • Design CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, and Terraform
  • Enable automated deployments and environment provisioning
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives (onprem Azure)

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years of IT experience
  • 6+ years of strong handson experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Azure networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Application Gateway)
  • Azure compute and storage services
  • Identity & access management (Entra ID / Azure AD)
  • Monitoring and logging tools
  • Azure DevOps & CI/CD pipelines
  • IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
  • Strong Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Microsoft Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Azure Administrator Associate / Azure Security Engineer Associate / TOGAF / Cloud Architecture certifications are preferred
