Job description

Overview

Selene Holdings is a financial services firm operating in mortgage servicing, loan diligence, title, insurance brokerage, and real estate with offices in Dallas, TX; Jacksonville, FL; and Salt Lake City, UT. The Senior Azure Engineer will manage and maintain Selene’s Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and performance for our financial services applications.

Responsibilities
  • Architect robust and scalable Azure solutions aligned with business requirements, including compute, storage, networking, database, and application services.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates to define and manage infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to streamline deployments, configuration management, and operational tasks.
  • Monitor and analyze Azure resource utilization to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Design and enforce security measures across the Azure environment, including access controls, data encryption, vulnerability management, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Azure IaaS/PaaS, managing complex native and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions on Azure, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Required certification: Azure Administrator Associate. Desired: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
  • Proficiency with Azure services, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
