Job description

$3.8B+ fixed income RIA in New York City (Midtown) seeks both a junior, as well as mid-level, Portfolio Administrator to join their team supporting HNW individuals, trusts, endowments/foundations, and pension plans with investment counsel/portfolio management services.
Responsibilities:
Open/maintain new Separately Managed and Fund Accounts; monthly/semi-annual/quarterly account reporting; assist with tax packages
Collaborate with Sr. Administrator to help with private placements, managing capital calls/distributions and posting reports via secure investor portal
Work closely with senior management/administrators on ad-hoc reports of investment performance
Deposit checks; transfer cash; assist with account reconciliation to custodian accounts; work on Axys to ensure information is accurately posted
Assist with sorting mail, scanning/maintenance of account documentation; act as primary back-up for phone coverage
Requirements:
Junior Portfolio Administrator - 2+ years of experience at a financial services/investment advisory firm (boutique experience preferred)
Mid-level Portfolio Administrator - 5+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree required
Experience with Microsoft Office; exposure to Satuit CRM (or similar), DocuSign, SS&C's Advent Axys a plus
Knowledge of management company accounting and fund taxes a plus
Superior communications/organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects of varying priorities; ability to work individually and collaboratively; client-service focused
Target base salary for this role to be determined by various factors including but not limited to skillset and experience level. The Jr. Administrator is estimated at $75-100k per year. The mid-level Portfolio Administrator is estimated at $110-130k per year. In addition, these positions are eligible for annual discretionary bonus, healthcare benefits, retirement plan, etc.
