This position requires you to be on-site 5 days a week.
Primary Responsibilities:
The candidate will work specifically with the firm's operations team along with the rest of the Azimuth team to support the firm's internal operations functions and client service requirements.
The role will include specifically assigned duties as well as a number of assignments that arise as issues or opportunities are encountered by the firm. The candidate's role is expected to involve several of the firm's operations and client service functions. The candidate will also assist the Azimuth team in addressing special client-driven questions or issues.
We are looking for a professional that is willing and able to grow and develop to become a key member of our operations team.
Some of the responsibilities of the individual in this role will include:
  • Participation in the client/account onboarding process, including preparation and processing of documentation, coordination with clients, account custodians, and other team members, and setup within internal management systems
  • Participation in the firm processes involving the movement of client funds or assets
  • Direct interaction with firm clients, other professionals and custodian personnel to meet client needs and attend to client-related matters
  • Employ and enhance firm systems and workflows to prepare and complete tasks
  • Assistance with identification, investigation and resolution of account reconciliation issues
  • Working with senior management and other team professionals on internal reporting or matters associated with processes, policies and procedures
  • Supporting other related firm operations functions as needed, including client service, business development, and compliance
  • Contributing to special projects involving new systems assessment and implementation, development or enhancement of workflow processes, and other strategic initiatives

Qualifications:
  • College degree required; other industry-related qualifications or designations a plus
  • 5+ years' experience in similar operations-associated role
  • Specific experience with client on-boarding, cashiering and/or account billing a plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills consistent with role requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as appropriate to successfully perform role requirements in a coordinated team setting
  • Demonstrable and reliable high level of attention to detail
  • Desire to work in an informal, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
  • Proficiency with computer software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office
  • 365 Suite; experience and proficiency with other industry-related applications (e.g., Advent
  • Axys/Moxy, Black Diamond, Satuit CRM, FactSet, custodian and workflow systems) a plus

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $80,000-$90,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
