Job Title: UI/UX Prototype Designer (Figma/Axure)

Job Description:
This position will bring in expertise in interaction, user interface, and visual design (including illustration) to their collaborative UX environment and by working with UI/UX lead to create polished, well documented visual experiences.
The perfect candidate will be an important voice in creating different UI components and creating UI designs that are best suited for mobile and web.
In this role, you'll be joining the product group in their UX sub-team. This team creates the core experiences and building blocks that make up their platform-wide user experience and are the stewards for development of shared standards and components. This includes their design system, dashboards and reporting, graph visualization and case management, global navigation, and UI extensibility.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to understand project goals and user requirements.
• Design and iterate on user interface and experience prototypes, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user journey.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and functionality. Transform wireframes and concepts into visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design decisions, incorporating feedback into iterative design processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design principles, and emerging technologies to enhance the overall user experience.
• Utilize Figma to create high-fidelity UI/UX designs, interactive prototypes, and design systems.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility of design solutions and maintain design consistency throughout development.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and other documentation to support design consistency.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and collaborate with stakeholders to balance business goals with user needs.
• Maintain and update design files, ensuring version control and organized design systems in Figma.
• Effectively communicate design decisions and concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Collaborate with other designers to share insights, techniques, and contribute to a creative and innovative design culture.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and data-driven insights.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing design process, Figma proficiency and user-centered design.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Axure for creating interactive prototypes.
• Deep understanding of HCI principles, accessibility standards, user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles and an understanding of technical constraints, and the design handoff processes, including generating assets for development.
• In-depth knowledge of Figma features, components, and collaboration functionalities.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, adapting to project requirements and timelines.
• Experience with user research methodologies, including usability testing and persona development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate insights into actionable design improvements.
