Check out this NEW Opportunity with Axient! SEG, a subsidiary of AXIENT is seeking an RF Signatures Model Developer in Columbia, MD. The successful candidate will run computational electromagnetic simulations in high performance computing (HPC) environments, performing analysis on the resulting datasets.

With internally developed tools and processes, datasets will be represented as highly compressed numerical models for use in real-time Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) simulations. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to technical reviews and customer briefings. What you will do...

Responsibilities: Conduct thorough analysis of computational electromagnetic simulation output to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Produce high-quality numerical models of simulation outputs utilizing team process and procedures. * Contribute to the development of new modeling and analysis tools.

Create technical data review and analysis briefings for both internal and external stakeholders. Stay current with the latest advancements in RF/IR technology, signal processing algorithms, and modeling techniques. * Document and present methodologies and model performance to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills you will need... Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance 4-8 years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in physics, applied mathematics, data science, engineering, or related field. Mathematical background in linear algebra, differential equations, complex analysis, numerical methods, and statistics.

Familiarity with electromagnetic theory, quantum mechanics, and fluid dynamics. Intermediate proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong presentation skills Desired Qualifications: Active Us DoD SECRET (or higher) 5-10 years of relevant experience Masters or PhD in physics, applied mathematics, data science, or engineering with relevant project experience. Advanced proficiency in MATLAB, Python, R, C/C++, or similar coding language for data analysis, algorithm development, and model implementation. Familiarity with software version control and issue tracking.

Experience with Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, JIRA, etc.) Experience with implementing linear or non-linear regression machine learning models. Experience with analyzing large datasets. Modeling and analysis experience in the characterization of adversary missile systems.

Experience working with Linux systems. Familiarity with utilizing high-performance computing (HPC) environments for physics or mathematical simulations. * Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
