The two lower levels of certification are the AWS Solution Architect-Associate certification and the more foundational Cloud Practitioner certification. These certifications are preferred, if not outright required by employers seeking to hire professionals to manage their cloud services and technologies. Each certification exam builds on the last, requiring more experience and knowledge, culminating in the Professional-level certification, which requires two years of hands-on experience with cloud architecture, familiarity with multiple scripting languages and operating environments, and an expert-level knowledge of AWS solutions principles. You must be able to build and deploy hybrid architecture, be able to enumerate your duties and responsibilities as a cloud professional, and design scalable and reliable applications on AWS.
