Who You Are:

A career-oriented, highly communicative, self-starter with a goal to become the foreman of your own crew. You enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions, uphold best safety practices and possess a current driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report.


Description:

  • Supervise Flaggers and ensure company, federal, state and local standards are being met.
  • Perform traffic control and flagging activities as needed.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations on all work zones and flagging sites, including placing signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices.
  • Implement and field adjust Traffic Control Plans.
  • Maintain a safe work area on highways, municipal roads, rights-of-way, and rural roads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Possess safe driving habits.
  • Able to work in extreme weather conditions when required and necessary.
  • Able to problem solve and work under pressure.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and meet other physical demands of the job.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Able to document work thoroughly and clearly in various software.
  • Available to work M-F (starting early in the morning), plus overtime.
  • Available to work nights and weekends when required and necessary.
  • Pre-employment drug screen.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Possess 2 forms of valid ID.

Experience

  • Hands-on, self-sufficient and demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 75 lbs on a regular basis
