Job Overview

LPL Financial is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-oriented leader to join the Capital Partners Team as an Assistant Vice President (AVP), Product Management. This role will be responsible for overseeing the product strategy, development, enhancement, and ongoing management of the Capital Partners suite of advisor solutions. Capital Partners plays a critical role in LPL's organic and inorganic growth strategy by helping advisors address some of the most important financial and business decisions of their careers. The team delivers a broad range of solutions including Partial & Full Book Sales, Brokerage Services, Liquidity & Succession (L&S), Partial Liquidity Solutions, Minority Stake Investments, Revenue Purchase Programs, Asset Referral Programs, and the development of future advisor-focused offerings. As AVP, Product Management, you will establish and execute the strategic vision for the Capital Partners product portfolio, working closely with sales, operations, marketing, legal, compliance, technology, and executive leadership teams. You will be responsible for ensuring current solutions continue to evolve and scale while identifying new opportunities that enhance advisor outcomes and accelerate business growth. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines strategic thinking with execution excellence and enjoys bringing innovative solutions to market. In this role, you will help drive LPL's growth by: Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy across the Capital Partners platform. Identifying and launching new solutions that address advisor lifecycle and succession planning needs. Enhancing advisor experiences through continuous product innovation and process improvement. This position is ideal for someone who is highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, data-driven, and passionate about delivering meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the long-term product vision and roadmap for the Capital Partners suite of solutions
  • Own the lifecycle management of existing products, ensuring continued relevance, scalability, and advisor adoption
  • Identify market opportunities, advisor needs, and industry trends to inform future product development initiatives
  • Partner with sales, relationship management, operations, legal, compliance, technology, and marketing teams to deliver product enhancements and new offerings
  • Define product requirements, business cases, success metrics, and implementation plans for strategic initiatives
  • Monitor key business metrics and advisor feedback to evaluate product performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional teams through product launches, enhancements, and major strategic initiatives
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and recommendations regarding product strategy, performance, and investment priorities
  • Establish processes and governance frameworks to support product management best practices across Capital Partners
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across Capital Partners products, advisor succession planning strategies, and M&A-related solutions
  • Drive innovation through the creation, evaluation, and launch of new products and services that support advisor growth, transition, liquidity, and succession objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen LPL's position as a market leader in advisor lifecycle solutions

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product strategy, consulting, corporate strategy, sales enablement, and/or business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience developing, managing, and scaling business products or advisor-facing solutions
  • 5+ years' experience leveraging data and advisor insights to drive decision-making and product improvements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Core Competencies
  • Knowledge of financial services, wealth management, advisor business models, succession planning, M&A, or practice management
  • Ability to articulate LPL's business model, advisor lifecycle needs, and Capital Partners value proposition
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities and driving results
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across all levels

Pay Range

$109,283.00 - $182,104.00 Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
