Janus Henderson Investors US, LLC seeks an Investment Manager in New York, NY to develop, implement and manage financial portfolios and investments for clients by planning and executing investment strategies, managing investments, and monitoring portfolio performance. Manage investment funds to maximize return on client investments. Select specific investments or investment mixes for purchase by an investment fund. Monitor financial or operational performance of individual investments to ensure portfolios meet risk guidelines. Select and direct the execution of trades. Develop or implement fund investment policies or strategies. Perform and evaluate research, industry analyses, to inform financial forecasting, decision making, or valuation.
Present investment information, such as product risks, or fund performance statistics. Develop, implement, or monitor security valuation policies. Attend due diligence meetings to determine investment goals or to discuss investment strategies. Attend investment briefings or consult financial media to stay abreast of relevant investment markets. Prepare for and respond to regulatory inquiries. Evaluate the potential of new product developments or market opportunities, according to factors such as business plans, technologies, or market potential. *Position may allow for an occasional home office benefit within a commutable distance to our NYC office. Requirements: Master's degree in quantitative management or a related field, plus 3 years of employment experience. Required skills: portfolio analysis, including performance calculation methodologies, Python, Tableau and SQL, Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet, Axioma Optimizer and risk models, Charles River IMS including management of model strategies, managing institutional accounts, UlTs, European UCITs, and Index methodologies, constructing ETF based asset allocation models, investment compliance rules: regulatory and client mandated, and interacting with global custodians. *The required skill set does not need to be maintained over the full term of the required experience. Required skills may be gained through employment or education.
