Health Teacher - 1.0 FTE
Job Description
Twin Cities Academy is seeking a 1.0 FTE Long Term Substitute Health Teacher from August 21, 2019 through the first semester of the school year. The position is designed to teach the AVID elective to 9th grade students. All curriculum and support is available predesigned by the AVID coordinator.
Twin Cities Academy is committed to serving an urban population of students on the eastside of St. Paul to be prepared for the rigor of college. Twin Cities Academy has a commitment to educational equity and the qualified candidate would share our passion for serving students of all backgrounds to reach their highest potential through creating caring and healthy relationships with students.
Qualifications
Required: Minnesota Secondary Teaching License or ability to get an equivalent variance license.
Preferred: Experience working in an urban school setting.
