Job description

Réalta Technologies is searching for AVEVA PI System Administrators to support our client, a leading pharmaceutical organization based in Indianapolis, IN, USA.
These roles will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the PI System environment, with a strong focus on PI Vision dashboards and Event Frames. This is a long-term opportunity to become the technical owner of a critical manufacturing and operations data platform.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support of the AVEVA PI System environment.
  • Maintain and optimize PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF) and related components.
  • Design, build and maintain PI Vision displays for operations, engineerin, and management users.
  • Create, manage and optimize Event Frames for process monitoring, batch tracking and KPI reporting.
  • Troubleshoot data flow, interface issues, performance problems and system alerts.
  • Work closely with engineering, IT and operations teams to onboard new data sources and users.
  • Manage user access, security, system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, backups and disaster recovery processes.

Job Requirements
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience supporting AVEVA PI in a production environment.
  • Strong experience with PI Vision and PI Asset Framework (AF).
  • Experience building and maintainingEvent Frames.
  • Familiarity with PI Interfaces / Connectors and data flow troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server environments and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience working in regulated or manufacturing environments (Pharma, Biotech, Manufacturing, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder support skills.
  • Ability to work on-site or close to site in Indianapolis as needed.
