Responsibilities:

  • Deliver feasibility studies, techno-economic assessments, decarbonization strategies, define technical concepts for industrial clients
  • Build and apply thermodynamic simulation and optimization models of energy systems, model performance of power plants and industrial energy systems (e.g., CCGT, cogeneration) under variable operating conditions
  • Identify and quantify technical and financial risks in energy investments, develop risk models and perform independent validation of concepts to support investment decisions
  • Perform technical due diligence, assess project documentation, evaluate technologies, and provide independent expert input to investors and stakeholders
  • Engage directly with clients and provide expert advisory, present results, translate complex analyses into actionable insights, and support executive-level decision making
  • Support business development and growth of energy consulting services, contribute to proposal preparation, identify new market opportunities, and expand the consulting portfolio in energy transition

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering consultancy, technical advisory regarding energy systems (e.g. CCGT, cogeneration, heat pumps, etc.)
  • Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in energy, process or mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of thermodynamic modeling software (e.g.: Aspen Hysys, Aspen Utilities Planner, Thermoflow, Cycle-Tempo, etc.)
  • Fluent English (C1 or upper B2)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client and site meetings
