Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer (Avaya Voice & UC)
Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Voice Engineer with deep expertise in Avaya Voice Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Contact Center technologies, SIP/VoIP, and Voice Automation. The ideal candidate will provide L3 production support, lead complex troubleshooting efforts, drive voice transformation initiatives, and build automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

Provide L3 support for enterprise voice and unified communications environments.

Troubleshoot complex issues involving Avaya telephony, SIP trunks, SBCs, call routing, and contact center platforms.

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions.

Lead voice migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.

Support major production incidents and customer escalations.

Collaborate with network, security, and application teams.

Develop automation solutions for voice operations, monitoring, and reporting.

Create dashboards, health checks, operational reports, and documentation.

Coordinate with telecom carriers for SIP, PRI, and circuit-related issues.

Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.
