Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer - Avaya

Location: Portland, OR (Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Voice Engineer - Avaya to provide L3 support for enterprise voice and unified communications environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Avaya Voice Infrastructure, VoIP, Contact Center technologies, and voice automation, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and lead voice transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session Manager, System Manager, SBCE, and Media Gateways
  • Hands-on expertise in VoIP, SIP, H.323, SIP Trunks, Call Routing, Dial Plans, and Voice QoS
  • Experience with Avaya Contact Center, CMS Reporting, VDNs, Hunt Groups, IVR Integration, and Workforce Management
  • Proficiency in Python, REST APIs, Ansible, and PowerShell for voice automation
  • Experience with Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk, PRTG, and Microsoft Teams Voice integration
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer communication, and enterprise voice support experience
Responsibilities:
  • Provide L3 support for enterprise voice and unified communication environments
  • Troubleshoot complex voice, SIP, SBC, and contact center issues
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
  • Lead voice upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives
  • Develop automation solutions, monitoring dashboards, and operational reports
  • Collaborate with network, security, telecom providers, and mentor L1/L2 engineers

Preferred Certifications: Avaya ACS/ACIS, CCNP Collaboration, Microsoft Teams Voice (MS-720), or Python/Automation certifications.
