What You'll Do As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will:

  • Originate, acquire, and market high-quality residential loans.
  • Have access to competitive products like our one-time close conventional and VA construction loans and in-house portfolio options that make complex deals possible.
  • Build and grow a strong network of referral partners, including Realtors, builders, financial planners, and local professionals.
  • Develop and execute creative marketing strategies to generate new mortgage business,
  • Deliver exceptional member service with in-depth knowledge of lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Structure loans to meet both member needs and all federal and state guidelines.
  • Cross-sell additional credit union products and services to support members' full financial health.
  • Analyze all required loan documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

We want someone who is excited about sales, loves building relationships, and understands the mortgage industry inside and out.


A successful candidate will have:

  • Required: At least two years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator with proven external sales experience.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain high-quality referral networks.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Solid understanding of agency and investor guidelines,
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.

Education: A college degree is preferred but not required.
