Junior AV Engineer

Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: Onsite

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Launch Your Career in Audiovisual Technology

Are you interested in technology, problem-solving, and designing modern workplace environments? We're seeking a Junior AV Engineer to join a growing Audiovisual (AV) Engineering team supporting commercial offices, higher education institutions, healthcare organizations, and other clients throughout the Northeast.

This is an entry-level opportunity designed for someone who is eager to learn. Whether your background is in IT support, audiovisual technology, engineering, networking, technical services, or design, we'll provide the training and mentorship needed to build a career in AV engineering.

You'll work alongside experienced Systems Engineers, Project Managers, Sales teams, and Field Technicians while gaining exposure to the full audiovisual project lifecycle.

What You'll Do
  • Assist with the design of audiovisual systems for conference rooms, training spaces, classrooms, and corporate environments
  • Support engineers in creating proposals, equipment lists, and project documentation
  • Help coordinate projects with drafting and design teams
  • Participate in client meetings to gather project requirements
  • Review and update system drawings and documentation
  • Attend project site visits to document construction progress and identify installation considerations
  • Stage and test AV equipment before deployment
  • Support installation teams with technical questions and troubleshooting
  • Research products and assist with technical solution development
  • Work with teams across engineering, sales, project management, and field operations
What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
