Job description

Our Project Managers’ job is to effectively assess the scope of work, manage their team, and create a detailed plan needed to successfully complete AV projects.

Come and further your career as a home automation/AV Project Manager at the leading AV integrator in the country. This is a highly skilled, Home Automation project management position. This position requires AV or Low Voltage installation technical experience, construction site knowledge and experience, and team management skills.

If you are a top level PM in the home automation industry or lead technician with management experience that can manage profitable projects, impress and satisfy clients and stakeholders, and provide a positive work environment for other team members, we want to talk to you!

Salary: $54,775.16 - $133,311.05 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute $5k to $1M jobs with a total budget range of $2M to $4M per year
  • Effectively manage multiple projects based on shifting deadlines and requirements that adhere to established budgets and client expectations
  • Work closely with high profile homes and clients, maintain client privacy, and personal professionalism at all times.
  • Work closely with other departments to move projects forward towards completion
  • Responsible to attend site walk throughs, check-in visits and job completion walkthroughs as needed
  • Follow industry standards and building codes for low voltage installations
  • Responsible for quality control of project related items
  • Work with Crestron, Control4, Savant, and Lutron control systems.
  • Supervise a team of 3-6 technicians at a time.
  • Coordinate with other teams depending upon the scope of work.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural team with diverse heritage, processes, and people

Requirements:

  • Ability to determine problems and deliver project solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in Project Management 3+ years
  • Strong Technical Experience in AV or Low Voltage
  • Deep understanding of construction site processes and standards
  • Ability to read plans and diagrams
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally or work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrate proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, resilient, eager to learn and has willingness to improve
  • Able to execute numerous competing priorities effectively with good time management
  • Must promote the Company's core values to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners
  • Must be self-motivated, positive, professional, and willing to help create, develop and implement process improvements
  • A passion for Home Automation is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Be a US Citizen
  • Have valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Pass drug screen and background check
  • Experience in Project Management or equivalent for at least 5 – 10 years
