AV Technician - Smart Home Systems

  • We're looking for an AV Technician to join our Scottsdale team-someone with hands-on experience in smart-home installation, programming, wiring, and networking who's ready to take the next step in their craft. You'll collaborate with lead techs and project managers to bring high-end automation systems to life for discerning clients.

What You'll Do

  • Install and configure AV and smart-home systems including Control4, Savant, or Crestron

  • Pull, label, and terminate structured wiring for audio, video, and network systems

  • Mount TVs, speakers, racks, and related components with precision and care

  • Configure routers, switches, and wireless networks for seamless system performance

  • Assist with basic programming and troubleshooting of automation platforms

  • Perform quality checks and system testing before handoff to project management

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

  • Communicate clearly with clients, builders, and teammates with professionalism and courtesy

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of experience in residential AV, low-voltage, or home automation installation

  • Familiarity with programming Control4, Crestron, Savant, or similar platforms

  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (routers, switches, IP addressing)

  • Experience reading and following construction drawings and wiring schematics

  • Comfort with ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools

  • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and team-minded

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
