Worker Type Regular Job Description Job Summary The primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You'll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment. Position Responsibilities: * Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.
* Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.
* Configure and manage RedHat Linux and Windows systems.
* Support vulnerability management using Nessus.
* Handle STE/STN scoring and documentation.
* Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.
* Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
* Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computuer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience
* Minimum 10+ years of system administration experience
* Strong RedHat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills.
* Familiarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and STE/STN initiatives.
* Experience configuring UNIX and Windows environments.
* An active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Other Qualification & Desired Competencies: * Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning.
