Field Systems:The Trimble Field Systems segment provides solutions to increase precision and productivity in construction tasks by empowering stakeholders to collect accurate information and manage conditions with cutting-edge technology.

What Makes This Role Great:

As part of our Production team, you will report to the Director of Production and Product Assurance and be supervised by our Production Team Lead.

You will be part of our Production team responsible for assembling and testing a variety of industry-leading products used for mobile mapping, surveying, and in autonomous vehicles. Your skills and experience will allow you to be cross-trained across all the processes required to build these products efficiently for our customers.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Product Assembly: You will perform light mechanical assembly using hand/bench top tools following build instructions.

  • Product Testing: You will test products and subassemblies complying with test instructions defined by product which may include manual testing, product configuration and software loading, temperature testing and review of data captured during testing.

  • Trouble-Shooting/Repair: You will apply your keen problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair subassemblies or products that do not pass test.

  • Thinking Continuous Improvement: You have a continuous improvement mindset that is constantly thinking of how to improve the way things are done to minimize waste and how to improve our team to be more efficient, more cost effective and bring more value to our customers.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Electronics assembly/installation experience (hardware assembly & software loading) using various test equipment

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Very good oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Bonus Points For

  • Electronic or Computer Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma or equivalent preferred, but demonstrated relevant experience is more important

About Your Location


The nature of our work requires you as part of our Production Team to work 100% on-site. Our typical work week is Monday through Friday with core business hours of 9AM to 3:30PM allowing us to collaborate in-person with other teams like Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering. During periods of peak demand you may be required to work over-time (extended hour(s) at end-of-shift and/or during weekends).
