Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) help monitor and support self-driving vehicles during live passenger rides and testing operations.

This is not a traditional driving job. AVOs are responsible for making sure the vehicle operates safely, staying alert at all times, and taking over control of the vehicle if needed.

The role also includes interacting with passengers, reporting issues or unusual vehicle behavior, and providing feedback to help improve the technology and rider experience.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment and following strict procedures. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and situational awareness are important for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor autonomous vehicle behavior during passenger service and testing
• Be prepared to take manual control of the vehicle if necessary
• Follow safe driving practices and traffic laws at all times
• Report vehicle issues, unusual events, or safety concerns clearly and accurately
• Provide a professional and friendly experience for riders
• Conduct basic vehicle safety and cleanliness checks
• Support vehicle operations during assigned shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
