Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Content Strategy & Development:
  • Create content including but not limited to white papers, product documentations, articles, blogs and digital content
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling messaging
  • Ensure all content aligns with product strategy and positioning

Customer Engagement & Story Development:
  • Engage directly with customers, sales teams, and field service to identify successful installations
  • Convert real-world applications into case studies, success stories, and publishable content
  • Capture customer value, outcomes, and differentiators to support marketing and thought leadership initiatives

Product Storytelling & Positioning:
  • Partner with Product Managers and sales to understand product roadmap and value propositions
  • Develop consistent messaging frameworks that differentiate ONICON products

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with Product Management and Marketing to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Develop collateral and training materials
  • Support trade shows, presentations, and customer-facing initiatives

Content Governance:
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and accuracy across all content
  • Manage updates and revisions to reflect product and market changes

Market Engagement:
  • Research industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Support thought leadership, industry publications, and external content distribution

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in technical writing or product content
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with SEO & keyword strategies

Qualifications:
  • Experience in HVAC, instrumentation, or industrial markets
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle concepts
  • Experience supporting technical sales teams

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
  • Physical Demand(s): Can lift up to 25lbs, sitting and stand for reasonable periods of time
  • Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at computer monitors and handheld test equipment for reasonable periods of time
  • Manual Dexterity Demand(s): Must be capable of using small hand tools and test equipment as required
  • Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment. Testing equipment that requires safety precautions
