Automotive Service Porter

Landmark Chrysler-Jeep-Fiat, Inc. is a customer-focused automotive service center dedicated to providing top-notch vehicle maintenance and repair services. We are part of the Landmark Automotive Group of dealerships in Springfield, IL since 1975. We pride ourselves on delivering quality service with a commitment to customer satisfaction. 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Automotive Service Porter to assist our service team with vehicle movement, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean and organized service area. If you enjoy working around cars and providing top-notch customer service, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in the service department with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Move vehicles to and from service bays, parking areas, and dealership lots as needed.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of service areas, parking lots, and customer waiting areas.

  • Ensure vehicles are properly parked and organized for efficient service operations.

  • Assist service advisors and technicians by retrieving vehicles for customers.

  • Perform light cleaning of customer vehicles, such as vacuuming and exterior washes (if applicable).

  • Conduct vehicle inspections to check for any pre-existing damage.

  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by following dealership safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for the automotive industry is a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods.

  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions as needed.
