Edwards Auto Group (Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC) in Council Bluffs, IA is looking for an Automotive Service Manager to join the team! The Automotive Service Manager will be responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department through staffing, customer retention, cost controls, and maintenance of all service records. This individual will assist in hiring and training of new employees. Improving efficiency with both customers and their staff is a must.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality service and repairs are provided to customers
  • Assists with Hiring, training, and regulating the shops efficiencies
  • Control expenses and monitor the operations of the department
  • Manage schedules and guide employees
  • Handle escalated customer complaints
  • Conduct meetings with departments staff to review activities and/or concerns
  • Implement marketing strategies to improve sales
  • Work directly with customers to discuss the mechanical details of their vehicle
