SUMMARY

We are currently looking to hire a parts advisor for our Chrysler location. This position will be responsible for assisting all mechanics and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies. The ideal candidate will be energetic and possess a passion for automotive parts and believes in taking care of the customer and the power of teamwork! In this role, you will be responsible for providing world class customer service and support to customers and management in accomplishment of assigned daily tasks such as maintaining inventory, store appearance, cataloging and inventory management.

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULING

$2,000.00 per month

Monday - Saturday

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts

Inform customers of companion parts and specials to ensure proper knowledge and exposure of full product line. 

Answer and assist with call in customers to ensure accurate price quotes

Review body shop estimates to ensure accurate parts are being ordered per estimate specs

Daily inventory control on parts and making sure manager is informed of any out-of-stock items

Ability to search for and order out-of-stock parts in emergency situations

Strong ability to maintain open communication with customers, service advisors, and shop personal on daily projects to ensure smooth operations

Stocking and replenish assigned inventory

Responsible for preparing proper billing on service repair orders

Assist with front desk duties like taking payments and set up daily shipment orders

Assist manager with lost sales tracking program 

Other duties as assigned


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS 

Excellent customer service skills

1-2 years of automotive parts experience required, either from a retail parts outlet or dealership

Bi-Lingual a plus

Ability to learn and train in a fast pace work environment

Cataloging and Inventory Management 

Valid DL
