Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including powertrain systems, engines, electrical components, and vehicle systems.
  • Use advanced automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Repair or replace engine components, including diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
  • Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and safety inspections to uphold quality standards.
  • Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts or equipment as needed to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and maintaining professional communication throughout the service process.

Experience

  • Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with a variety of vehicles, especially Subaru or similar brands.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools, schematics interpretation, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to work with automotive repair manuals, schematics, and electronic diagnostic systems confidently.
  • Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent manual dexterity for precise repairs using hand tools and power tools.

Education and Experience:
