Job description

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations within their assigned department, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations are consistently achieved. This role provides leadership to operators, technicians, material handlers, and support personnel while driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and employee development.


Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations within the assigned department to meet production schedules

• Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees.

• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Promote compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company safety requirements.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 3 to 7 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
