Job description

SUMMARY: Perform production welding, assembly, basic machining and other manufacturing processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Load & unload CNC cylinder head porting machines

  • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and machining finish to ensure product meets or exceeds quality standards.

  • Pressure test cylinder heads.

  • Wash and prep heads for assembly.

  • Perform assembly, welding, and packaging operations of various products.

  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.

  • Manage supplies and equipment, including performing Preventive Maintenance and cleaning of assigned machinery, equipment, and work areas.

  • Assist manufacturing personnel in machining, cleaning, inspecting, assembly, and any other duties as assigned in a team environment.

  • Communicate and cooperate with the supervisor and all other members of the team to improve the operation in all areas including efficiency, productivity, and supply costs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Graduate or equivalent. Automotive Technology, Automotive High Performance, or equivalent Automotive Machine Shop Training. Engine performance and rebuilding experience is a plus. 2 years of experience in automotive machining is a plus. Must have experience with measuring and gauging equipment.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 1am - 9:30am
