Job description

Key Responsibilities Data Extraction & Reporting
  • Extract and compile data from dealership systems, OEM portals, CRM platforms, and third-party sources.
  • Build and maintain recurring reports for Sales, Service, Finance, and Operations teams across all ten dealership locations.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from department leaders with timely, accurate data.
  • This is a full-time on-site role at our Florence, AL corporate office. Applications from candidates outside the Shoals area or seeking remote/hybrid work will not be considered.
Data Quality & Analysis
  • Clean, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Partner with department managers to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities within dealership data.
  • Document reporting processes, data sources, and reporting logic for consistency and continuity.
Dashboards & Automation
  • Create dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Automate manual reporting processes using appropriate tools and scripting where applicable.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site at our Florence, AL corporate office.
  • Current residence in or near the Shoals area with the ability to commute daily.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, HTML, and Python.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini to improve productivity and reporting workflows.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and web-based business systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automotive dealership operations.
  • Familiarity with dealership systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, VinSolutions, Elead, Tekion, or vAuto.
  • Experience with Power Query, APIs, scripting, or other data automation tools.
  • Understanding of dealership KPIs, including sales, inventory, fixed operations, and service performance metrics.
