Volvo is seeking a regional commercial performance & finance manager to drive the achievement of financial and business goals across the Northeast Region. This position will serve as a key strategic partner and strategic consultant, closely aligning regional performance with overarching corporate objectives. With oversight of financial outcomes for new cars, used cars, parts, and accessories regional revenue, this role will focus on enhancing profitability, optimizing operational efficiency, and guiding regional leaders with data-driven insights. This strategic leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with Volvo's long-term vision and goals. The successful candidate will bring a strategic mindset, sharp financial acumen, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable, strategic recommendations for the Regional Vice President and Sales Director.

What you'll do

-    Lead Strategic Reviews: Drive high-level strategic discussions with regional leadership to influence decisions on marketing, sales, and production, by leveraging financial, operational and competitive data.
-    Provide Analytical Leadership: Deliver strategic insights, backed by thorough financial analysis, to identify growth opportunities, manage risks, and guide key business decisions.
-    Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for the region, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regional performance targets.
-    Collaboration for Profit Optimization: Partner with regional and corporate finance teams to identify profit-enhancing opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure financial targets are met.
-    Revenue Management Strategy: Develop and implement regional strategies to drive revenue optimization through product configuration, vehicle specifications, and tailored incentive programs.
-    Investment & Business Case Support: Provide financial expertise in the development of business cases and investment proposals, articulating clear ROI and strategic value.
-    Profit Forecasting: Maintain oversight of the region's profit outlook, ensuring accurate projections and mitigating any performance gaps.
-    Financial Reporting & Insights: Present monthly financial results to the region, providing detailed analysis of variances and translating data into actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
-    Retailer Financial Management: Analyze retailer financial statements and business processes, identifying areas for improvement and working closely with retail partners to design and execute performance-enhancing strategies. 
-    Over time, this role may expand to include responsibility for performance management and P&L oversight within additional business areas, supporting company priorities as they evolve.

What you'll bring

-    Strong knowledge of strategic financial insight, analytical & problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills supported by a degree in Business, Economics, Finance or similar field with 5+ years of related experience.
-    Knowledge of the US automotive business and products preferred.
-    Knowledge of forecasting/data visualization tools and methodology and ability to manage complex Excel models.
-    Ability to meet stringent deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
-    PC proficiency with high level of expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
-    Great presentation skills and experience interacting with senior management.
-    Strong self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in teams.

Salary Range:
      $ 93,168 - 173,026
Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, location and company guidelines
