Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician - B to join our dedicated service team. In this role, you will perform essential repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive systems and develop your technical expertise within a reputable dealership group.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive engine systems, including both gasoline and diesel engines, utilizing automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and alignment adjustments to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical systems to troubleshoot issues related to automotive electrical systems and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
  • Repair and service vehicle powertrain components, including transmissions and engine assemblies, following manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment safely and effectively for various repairs.
  • Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling duties required for vehicle repairs while adhering to safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicle quality meets dealership standards.

Requirements

  • Proven dealership experience or mechanic experience with a strong understanding of standard passenger car operation.
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostics tools such as automotive diagnostic scanners.
  • Experience with ADAS calibration, heavy lifting, alignment procedures, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, powertrain components, and vehicle systems.
  • Ability to interpret schematics accurately and work efficiently using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to undergo ongoing training on new automotive technologies.
