Job description


Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA is searching for an Assembly Line Operator to join our team at our state-of-the-art, highly automated production facility located in Daleville, VA. Here we produce Ignition systems for the US Automotive Market, an extension of our parent company, Eldor Corporation. We are seeking candidates with a strong sense of responsibility and dedication, good communication skills, and attention to detail.

At Eldor USA, The Assembly Line Operator will operate the assembly, inspect products to meet the target output and quality of products, and effectively communicate abnormal product conditions to supervisor for solving problems. Additional responsibilities are listed below.

The position will:

  • Refill blisters to load into machinery to ensure 100% of uptime during the final assembly.
  • Stuff springs into HV extensions, load HV extensions onto conveyor into Final, Inspect coils for resin drops, damage, or other abnormal quality issues.
  • 100% visual control on the finished product, to ensure 0 defects reach our customer.
  • Finish visual control in accordance with cycle time to ensure no machine stoppage.
  • During production hour for hour to record data on paperwork. To follow Supervisor’s instructions in regards to recording data if an abnormal situation arises.
  • Control the quality of the materials and product.
  • Maintain the machines cleanliness to ensure that no contamination occurs during production and too maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Repetitive lifting of up to 35 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervision.

Education & Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 1 year in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry
