Job description

Talento Search Group has an opening for an Automation Technician in Fort Wayne, IN.  This is a direct hire position with a stable company on the 1st shift! The rate of pay is $30-$35 per hour (may be flexible), depending on experience.
Job Highlights:
Pay:  $30-$35 per hour (may be flexible with right experience)
Shift: 1st shift; 7am-4pm
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, - Available Day 1 - Paid Holidays, Vacation, 401K retirement

Potential Overtime
Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Industrial Electrical training (Associates Degree) is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and electronic/electrical skills


Duties & Responsibilities - will train:

  • Maintenance of low and high voltage control systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair of various AC/DC/VFD drives, I/O, sensors HMI's 
  • Assist with new equipment automation and control software
  • PLC troubleshooting and repair (program edits / equipment repair)
  • Installation, calibration and repair of other electronic / control systems
  • Execute PMs for the plant's electrical and control systems
  • Responsible for PLC upgrades
  • Read and understand various types of Logic Programming
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Operate forklifts and aerial lifts - annual certification
