Job Title: HCM Programme Manager

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Technology drives transformation. People power success.

FosterThomas is a global consultancy specialising in Human Capital Management (HCM). Headquartered in the United States, we partner with organisations across the UK and internationally to design and deliver high‑impact HCM solutions that reduce risk, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth. While modern platforms rely heavily on automation, we ensure people remain at the centre of every transformation.

Our culture is collaborative, inclusive, and built on integrity, innovation, and respect for diverse perspectives.

Ready to be part of our UK growth story?

As we expand our presence in the UK, we are seeking an experienced HCM Programme Manager to play a key role in delivering complex, people-centred technology programmes for our clients. This is an opportunity to help shape how we deliver HCM solutions in the UK while working closely with global colleagues.

About the Role

As an HCM Programme Manager, you will lead end-to-end delivery of complex HCM programmes for UK and international clients, transforming how organisations manage their people, payroll, and HR technology. This role goes beyond traditional project management, offering the opportunity to influence delivery strategy and contribute to the continued growth of our UK practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of HCM projects and programmes, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.

  • Partner with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Oversee HR technology implementations, including HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, and talent systems.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

  • Manage programme risks, budgets, and delivery standards.

  • Collaborate with global teams to share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience (10+ years) delivering HCM projects or programmes.

  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, including HRIS, payroll, and workforce management solutions. Experience with ADP GlobalView and Celergo is desirable.

  • Experience working with UK payroll and regulatory frameworks (including HMRC; GDPR knowledge preferred).

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a practical, solutions‑focused mindset.

  • A genuine commitment to inclusive, collaborative ways of working.

Why FosterThomas?

  • Play a meaningful role in building and growing FosterThomas’s UK presence.

  • Work on high‑impact, global transformation programmes.

  • Access ongoing professional development and learning opportunities.

  • Join a supportive, forward‑thinking team where your ideas and contributions are valued.

Our Commitment to Inclusion: FosterThomas is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Join us and help shape the future of HCM, where technology and people come together to drive real change.
