The Automation Group Leader provides leadership for the Automation team by driving sales growth, operational execution, and employee development. This role plays a critical part in driving the division's vision forward by championing the Horwitz core values while building a high-performing, innovative, and customer-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement growth strategies for the Automation group.
  • Recruit, retain, and mentor a strong team with a focus on long-term growth and succession planning.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and professional development.
  • Lead the Automation sales strategy and pipeline, coaching the team to achieve revenue, gross margin, and growth objectives.
  • Develop and maintain key client and industry relationships, particularly with direct to owner stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support achievement of annual revenue, margin, and profitability objectives.
  • Ensure consistent execution that delivers exceptional customer experiences.
  • Leverage deep technical and commercial expertise to position Horwitz Automation as a trusted industry leader.
  • Coordinate resources and remove obstacles to ensure timely delivery of customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Promote the integration of innovative solutions and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the division at industry and networking events.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
